The Insurance Bad Faith Authorities
A denied insurance claim can be financially ruinous. You could lose your home, your car and your savings all because your insurance company wrongfully refused to pay a valid insurance claim.
Was your insurance claim denied for no good reason? Was the payment of benefits delayed or made in the wrong amount? Was your insurance coverage retroactivity cancelled after you made a claim?
These are just a few examples of insurance bad faith.

A Pioneer in Insurance Bad Faith Litigation
Attorney Ted Schmidt is well known in legal circles for the landmark Sparks v. Republic National Life Insurance Company case, a decision by the Arizona Supreme Court that resulted in a $4.5 million award to Ted's client.
This case helped establish the concept that insurance companies have a duty to act in good faith regarding the treatment of their policyholders. Parsons v. CNA is another insurance bad faith case that helped shape the law. This case, argued by attorney Burton Kinerk, established that, although the insurance company is paying for the defense attorney, the attorney's utmost duty and obligation is to the insured.
