All Kinds of Animals Can Be Dangerous
The attorneys of Kinerk, Schmidt & Sethi, PLLC represent people who have been seriously injured by dog bites or other animal attacks. We also represent the immediate family members of those who were killed by dangerous animals.
For example:
- We recovered compensation for a grandfather who was doing yard work at his home when he was attacked by a retired police dog who was on the loose. The injuries were so severe that our client's right arm was amputated above the elbow.
- We recovered more than $2.4 million for a 13-year-old girl who was mauled by a bear while attending a 4-H camp on Mount Lemon, just outside of Tucson. The U.S. Forest Service knew this animal had a history of bad behavior around humans, but they knowingly relocated it to Mount Lemon, putting campers at risk of a bear attack.
- A guest at an Arizona dude ranch, and a novice horse rider, was led into a dangerous and ill-advised activity. He was thrown from his horse and seriously injured. While recovering from surgery, he suffered a stroke. We overcame the liability release he had signed to obtain compensation.
